As part of our growing 3PL logistics & BPO business, we continuously look for opportunities to expand our services and provide clients with something of better quality and in larger numbers. In the last few years, we have been actively developing new services in such new areas as in-store digital services and e-commerce.
Particularly, as most of our Clients are global direct-sales companies, we had to address this feature, delivering appropriate services for their members and distributors. Besides widely spread online stores, our focus is on the fast-growing unattended self-service solutions.
Basically, we managed to build and launch an integrated global network of automated-store kiosks for one of our key Clients – a global nutrition producer. This allows boosting the sales and offering 24/7 services both online and off-line.
Our unattended services strategy also implies the development of a fully integrated platform, which embraces all the selling channels like online, mobile apps, and the automated store itself. Recently, we successfully launched such a new e-commerce set-up – online ordering for three countries in the Baltic region. Here is the moment to mention our outsourcing partner – software development company ISDK. The first phase of the project was completed jointly with the ISDK team and involved nearly ten senior developers and analysts. The next step – is to unite all the selling channels under the single Omnichannel platform and deliver the scalable ready for roll-out setups.
All our growth plans imply a lot of development. We trust ISDK with this work and hope to continue cooperation.
In mid-2021, our company started working on the data management systems update, we wanted to transfer them to the Office365 cloud platform. Some of the office solutions needed to be migrated to Office365, while some had to be developed from scratch.
For example, we wanted to develop a solution based on SharePoint Online + Teams + Dynamics365 CRM for document management of one of the company’s departments.
We decided to hire ISDK for this project. Already during pre-project works, they provided very detailed planning of the tasks and explained the concept of the future solution. This helped us to better visualize the expected project outcomes.
The project lasted several months. Some changes were made along the way; however, this did not cause any serious issues and the solution was successfully launched on our Office 365 corporate tenant. The following systems were used for the solution: SharePoint Online, Power Automate, Teams, Dynamics 365 CRM.
ISDK team proved to be real professionals in key Microsoft cloud competencies. They also helped us transfer solutions between corporate tenants and support them.
In addition to their professional level, we want to note their flexibility and quick and efficient communication.
Our company started paying more attention to and actively developing e-commerce and digital marketing quite recently. However, it quickly became one of the key focus areas for Harman & JBL brands globally and in Russia in particular.
An official web-store of Harman in CIS was launched in 2016. The store is built on the nopCommerce platform, which is a popular e-commerce tool in the Microsoft .NET stack. Besides having rich out-of-the-box functionality the platform is also flexible in terms of additional customization and allows integration with different corporate systems, which made it a perfect fit for us.
In 2018, we decided to initiate the store upgrade and improvement and optimize business processes. We’ve hired ISDK for this job as it was the first official nopCommerce partner in Russia.

In 2019, we plan to redesign the site, upgrade it to the latest nopCommerce version, and implement new digital marketing tools. We are going to continue working together with ISDK as they proved to be responsible and highly competent professionals meeting our business needs accurately and in a timely manner.
We launched our services in 2018 and were looking for a company to support our IT initiatives. Public website was of the top priority and at the same time, we planned a solution design of our customer financial platform.
We’d known ISDK team and their CEO Dmitry earlier and decided to involve them in both activities. As a result, the website was developed and launched quickly; we appreciate ISDK’s work pace and creativity of UI designers.
Then we started our platform development. Firstly, planning a blueprint and getting ready with the solution user experience (UX design) took a while. And here, we again engaged ISDK to support us in capturing the product features and creating an interactive graphic design for our platform.

Diving sports and eCommerce – you may think, those are two absolutely different stories. We did too, until we realized we need to streamline part of our regular business with modern eCommerce approaches. For the project, we hired ISDK team. Now, after its successful launch, Dmitry, ISDK global team lead, asked me to provide some thoughts and feedback.
Brief intro. NELOS is a Flemish league for diving sports, a community of 150 diving clubs in Flanders, Belgium. In NELOS, in addition to our educational programs and event activities for our members, we also sell various branded products for divers and instructors. Until recently, such orders were handled manually. That was inconvenient for our members as well as for our team.
To change that, we started the process automation project and hired ISDK for the technical stuff. The idea was to bring the simplicity of e-commerce into our usual ordering process. In detail, we wanted to offer our members such things as calculating pricing based on their customer roles, incorporating shipment with local BPost and cost estimate, introducing payments with EU-well-known Mollie provider, and other valuable features.
Besides that, ISDK helped us with graphic design. They made a webshop look modern and in line with our corporate brand book. Before we started, they provided us with some UI design variants. So, we were confident that what we got at the final point would be the same as what we saw at the start.
From a technical perspective, our webshop is developed with Microsoft Technology Stack. Particularly, it is built atop Microsoft Azure cloud and nopCommerce platform with custom features designed in .Net Core.
Besides that, we struggled to choose the right Azure service plan for our systems, which would be the best option from a performance and cost point of view. To accomplish that, ISDK team deployed several environments to test different options. Finally, we chose one that best fits our budget and provides decent performance.
As a final point, we’re happy about the result!
We can now offer better customer service with less pressure on our team. And thanks to ISDK team for the ease of communication and willingness to always seek the best possible options. They did great work, and it was a pleasure to communicate with the team during the project course.
We’ve worked with ISDK since 2015 and contracted them on various SharePoint corporate portal enhancement activities. Initially, ISDK developed a module for automatic deployment of main master page styles to “Sites” and OneDrive sections of personal user pages.
This work has been done on time and of the expected quality. We have been using this function for the last 5 years.
In 2018 to further expand our portal functionality, we needed the source code of this development. Because the people responsible for the portal changed, we lost this source code. We asked ISDK to help us. They understood our need and helped us to extract Visual Studio source code from WSP setup package.
