While most companies look for ways to cut their expenditures during the crisis, we at ISDK look for ways to invest wisely to gain in the long run. Even at these times, we continue funding both our team trainings and marketing promotion. Today we will share our view on the current business situation and explain why we decided to finance the qualification testing of our team to obtain new Microsoft Partner Competencies.
Coronavirus business impact
At ISDK, we believe that the COVID-related crisis is eventually to become one of the regular cyclic macro-economic events. Similar to the crises and recessions that we saw in 2000, 2007/8. And as every crisis transforms the business landscape, the COVID one won’t be an exception.
Just a couple of months of the quarantine has already done for the world’s digitalization far more than any initiative taken before and lasting months or years. Even businesses that traditionally were rather offline, are now forced to look for opportunities in the online space. It concerns not only customer acquisition. Overall business processes and internal routines become a part of this streamlining trend as well.

The certification process is strict and should be regularly repeated to confirm that partner competencies still guarantee the highest degree of skills and proficiency of developers. For this reason, only 5% of Microsoft partners worldwide hold the Silver competency and only 1% earns the Gold one.

- Project and Portfolio Management – Silver. Showcases the ability to deliver enterprise project management solutions to customers.
- Windows and devices – Silver. Great knowledge of technologies such as Windows 10, Universal Windows Platform, Surface Hub, enterprise deployment.
